InterVarsity's National Black Student Leadership Advancement Conference

Leaders are chosen, but made in obedience.

God chooses Jonah, a reluctant Old Testament prophet, to take a message of His grace to the “evil” city of Ninevah. Yet the conditions of Jonah’s heart - fear, rebellion, prejudice, self-righteousness, and unrepentance - hinder an obedient response to walk out this call.

Similar to Jonah, God is calling out Black student leaders to address their own hindering heart issues, to respond in obedience to Him, and to call out the societal, political, and religious ills that hinder the advancement of His Kingdom in the earth.

Atlanta ’08 will challenge, equip, and commission Black student leaders who receive and extend God’s grace, bringing about transformation in their lives, on their campuses, in their local communities and in the world. an.
